We have been working with Astral Cycling in Eugene, Oregon for many years, providing White Industries hubs for their Astral-branded wheels.  In 2022 we purchased Astral and made them part of the White Industries family.  Now you can purchase the complete Astral line of rims on the White Industries website.  Hubs and rims in one easy location!

The Backbone is a bomber 32mm internal 27.5 trail mountain bike rim. We improve the stiffness, strength, and longevity of a wheel by using an asymmetric (ASYM) rim design that improves spoke tension balance by up to 30%. On the trail, this translates to balanced handling you can rely on. With a 32mm internal width it’s perfect for wide trail tires up to 3.0” width.

Rims will ship directly to you from Astral Cycling in Eugene, Oregon, separately from the rest of your order.
